Spring in Korea brings a spectacular display of nature’s beauty through the pink and white blossoms of the cherry trees scattered across the country. If you’re a sucker for these little flowers then the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is definitely for you. While it will be difficult to avoid the crowds the 1, 886 trees flanking the Han River provide for a beautiful stroll under a canopy of the dazzling 87, 859 blooming flowers.
As you enjoy the spring flowers be sure to check out the street performers, musicians, street food vendors and parade of cute cartoon characters.
How to get there: Take subway line 9 to National Assembly Station (Exit 1 or 6). About a 5 minute walk to the cherry trees (follow the crowds).
