We head to the Kinabatangan River, Malaysia’s second largest river and one of the world’s largest ecosystems. Our first day, we go on an evening river cruise were we are lucky enough to see a large wild orangutan, the funny looking proboscis monkey and a herd of Bornean pygmy elephants. The next day's early morning cruise, we encounter a large crocodile and take in the beautiful scenes of an ox-bow lake.
