This week we head to Namdaemun Market, the largest traditional market in Korea. Then we catch a cable car to the top of Namsan Mountain, where we explore N Seoul Tower and get all romantic.
Namdaemun is buzzing with a vast amount of stores selling a wide variety of goods at affordable prices. Most of the goods are locally produced, and some goods are even made directly by the store owners. Goods range from clothes, glasses, kitchenware, hats, ginsing products and imported goods. The are also plenty food stalls which offer incredibly delicious Korean street food.
Seoul Tower is a 236.7 meter tower built atop Namsan Mountain (243m). The observatory offers panoramic views of Seoul and the surrounding areas. The tower is especially popular for couples, who declare their love to each other by locking a love lock on one of the many barriers on top of the mountain. There are a variety of restaurants, with N Grill, a Western-style, revolving restaurant being especially popular.
